How Payments Work
Everything you need to know about claiming your spot securely.
1. Make the Transfer
We currently accept payments directly via Telebirr, CBE, and BOA. Because we don't use a corporate payment gateway, you are doing a direct Peer-to-Peer (P2P) transfer from your banking app to our official account.
2. The Reference Number (CRITICAL)
After you send the money via your mobile banking app, your bank will provide you with a Transaction Reference Number (e.g., FT26235...).
You MUST return to the website, paste this exact reference number into the input box, and click "Confirm Payment".
If you close the website without submitting your reference number, our servers will have no idea who sent the money, and your spot will not be claimed!
3. Instant Verification
Once you submit your reference number, our backend securely connects to verify.et to instantly validate your payment with the bank in real-time. If the payment is confirmed, your link and pitch are immediately pushed to the live board.
Network Delays: If Telebirr or CBE APIs are temporarily down, don't panic! When you submit your reference, if the automated check fails, it is instantly sent to our admin team via a secure Telegram bot. We will manually approve your transaction within a few minutes.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I top up an existing bid?
Yes! If you are already on the board and someone outbids you, simply enter your exact same URL/@handle on the homepage. Any new amount you pay will be added to your total, allowing you to cheaply reclaim the #1 spot.
I paid but forgot to enter my reference number.
Please contact us immediately on X (Twitter) @kilopal_ with a screenshot of your bank receipt and your desired link/pitch. We will manually place you on the board.
